1 Placing & Managing Orders

How do I place an errand?

Log in to your account, go to "New Order", fill in the pickup location, delivery address, item description, and select your payment method. Review the fee and confirm. A runner will accept your order within minutes.

What items can I send?

Groceries, documents, food orders, packages, medications, electronics, clothing — almost anything legal and non-hazardous. We do not handle live animals, flammable materials, illegal goods, or items over 100kg.

How long will my errand take?

Most orders within the same area are completed in 30–90 minutes. Cross-town or market runs can take 1–3 hours. Scheduled orders are delivered at your chosen time.

Can I schedule an order for later?

Yes. When placing an order, choose a future pickup time — up to 7 days in advance.

Can I cancel an order?

Before a runner accepts: free cancellation. After acceptance: ₦200 cancellation fee. Once the runner is at the pickup location, cancellation is not available.

What if my item is damaged or missing?

Contact support within 24 hours of delivery with photos. We will investigate and issue a resolution within 48 hours. Runners are rated and those with issues are reviewed.

2 Payments & Wallet

How do I fund my wallet?

Go to My Wallet → Fund Wallet. Enter the amount (minimum ₦100) and pay via card or bank transfer through Paystack. Your wallet is credited instantly.

Is my payment secure?

All payments are processed by Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. Your card details are never stored on ErrandHer servers.

How do refunds work?

Refunds for cancelled or failed orders are returned to your ErrandHer wallet within 5 minutes. Wallet funds can be used on your next order immediately.

Can I get my wallet balance sent to my bank account?

Customer wallet balances cannot be withdrawn to a bank account — they are for platform use only. If you need a refund due to a platform error, contact support.

3 For Runners

How do I become a runner?

Register and select the Runner role. Complete your profile (vehicle, NIN, bank details, operating area). Our team reviews your documents within 24–48 hours, then invites you for a physical verification interview. After a successful interview, your account is activated.

What is the onboarding process?

Step 1: Submit your application with documents. Step 2: Admin reviews your documents and approves them. Step 3: You receive an invitation to book your interview slot (within 48 hours). Step 4: Admin confirms your slot and sends you the location. Step 5: You attend the physical interview. Step 6: Approved runners are activated immediately after interview.

How much do runners earn?

Runners keep 80% of every delivery fee. ErrandHer takes a 20% platform fee. Active runners in Port Harcourt earn ₦30,000–₦80,000+ per month depending on hours and order volume.

When are payouts processed?

You can request a payout any time your balance reaches ₦1,000. Payouts are processed to your registered bank account within 2–3 business days.

Can I choose which orders to accept?

Yes. You see available orders nearby and choose whether to accept. There's no penalty for declining, but runners with high acceptance rates get priority visibility.

4 For Vendors

How do I list my business on ErrandHer?

Register and select the Vendor role. Set up your store with your business name, product catalogue, and bank details. Our team reviews and activates your store within 48 hours.

How are vendor payouts processed?

Vendor earnings are held in escrow and released after delivery is confirmed. You can request payouts from your vendor dashboard. Payouts are processed to your bank account within 2–3 business days.

What commission does ErrandHer take from vendors?

Platform commission varies based on product category and order volume. Contact our vendor team for your specific rate.
